INFO The home and property of Sara Stina von Linné (1751-1835), the next to youngest of Linnaeus's four daughters, was inaugurated in 2003 as a new Linnaeus memorial. The house where Sara Stina lived burned down in 1972, but the garden remains on land where 4H animals graze today. In the expansive green area surrounding the site, you can still make out the fields belonging to the property. There is now a path for children leading through the former farmland, with a number of signs telling the history of women and children at the farm.
